This Professional Grade Rapid Peeler was designed to peel hard vegetables in no time at all. It can do this thanks to two key features. The first is its unique curved blade. The curved blade allows it to fit snugly on various round vegetables, such as daikon radishes, carrots, and potatoes, so that more of the blade is in contact with the vegetable skin than a typical straight-blade peeler.
The second feature is that the blade was made by master craftsmen in Tsubame Sanjo, a town historically famous for producing extremely high-quality kitchenware and blades.
This peeler slices vegetable skin quickly and thinly, ensuring minimal wastage. It's made entirely of 18-8 stainless steel, which is a higher grade than the typical 18-0 stainless used on most commercial kitchenware. This means that it's stronger, more rust-resistant, more heat-resistant, and completely dishwasher-safe.
