This Ikenaga cast iron takoyaki pan offers you the chance to recreate the classic taste of Japan at home.
Takoyaki is a popular Japanese street food often served at festivals, or cooked at home during "takoyaki parties". Batter is fried in a special pan with a piece of octopus inside, the batter is turned to end up forming a perfect little ball.
Recently it has become popular in Japan to make takoyaki with other fillings, not just octopus. Some people put little pieces of hot dog, bacon and cheese, vegetables, or even sweet fillings like chocolate and marshmallows.
