The main ingredient of Gateau Rusk is the French baguette which is baked everyday. To achieve an exceptional crispy texture, Gateau Festa Harada partnered with a century-old local flour milling company to develop a unique flour. Through extensive testing, they identified the ideal flour to create the Gateau Rusk.
The other two main ingredients are butter and sugar, generously and evenly applied to each slice of bread. By utilizing only the top layer of melted butter for the rusk, a refined flavor that remains light and enjoyable is achieved.
