This Japanese condiment is called red yuzu kosho, and it has been developed to offer you the pleasant aroma of yuzu citrus and the spicy punch of red chili pepper. Red yuzu kosho can be a fantastic substitute for shichimi togarashi (a Japanese seasoning blend made from seven spices and/or herbs).
The quantity of mature yuzu peel is five times greater than that of red pepper. This proportion allows you to enjoy the refreshing scent of yuzu while also experiencing the pungency that comes from pepper.
You can use this product instead of ra-yu (spicy oil usually mixed with dipping sauce for gyoza dumplings). It is also great to use as a condiment for udon noodles, katsu don rice bowl, or soup.
This red yuzu kosho is made using only Japanese ingredients, and is free of colorants and aromatics.
